Estimate

This is what we can do for you. First we will consider your space, its architecture, volume, scale, and quality of light-those things. Then in conversation with you, we will determine the appropriate budget, materials, color, and design for your floors. That done, we go to work fabricating and installing a one-of-a-kind art piece that will eventually cause a small flood of gasps and approving glances.

We offer three levels of inlay and design, from the above, to do-it-yourself installations, to small inlays installed in a single field color or repeat pattern. If you are interested in one of these fine designs, please contact us at the address below.

Just one or two more things and then we promise we'll go away. First, please understand that because of the complex nature of these designs combined with the unique conditions encountered at each installation site, we have to charge a fee for our estimates. Depending on the complexity of the job, the fee ranges from $100 - $300. Should you elect to have us design and install your floor, the entire fee will be credited back to the final price of your job.

If you want to take a shot at making a rough estimate, here are some rules of thumb:

If you have a fairly square area of about 250 square feet and you want a moderately complex inlay design, it is going to cost you approximately $2000 in VCT, $4000 in Linoleum, and $5000 for cork. More inlay equals greater cost.

Less inlay - you get the idea.

Then there is this snide and extremely smart-aleck vignette: Serious handholding; coming to your house and listening to you speak in harsh tones to your kids, animals, or staff; waiting while you talk on your cell phone etc. these kinds of things will cost you $150/hour plus medications and liquidated damages, but we're pretty sure that none of this is ever going to happen.
