Laurie Crogan
Laurie Crogan has a big imagination. Her unique custom designs and installations grace the floors of beautiful homes and businesses from Los Angeles to the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Her brilliant work can be found in epic mansions and in humble cottages alike. Known for her outstanding craftsmanship in creating intricate inlaid floors in linoleum, cork and rubber, Crogan has a remarkable ability to translate ideas into reality. Her visual abilities and warm personality have earned her an enthusiastic and loyal following among her clients, who think of their floors as pieces of art and of Crogan as a friend.
Crogan Inlay has done as many as 14 floors for the home of Jill Collins (ex-wife of Phil) and 3,000 square feet for Virgin Atlantic mogul Richard Branson's V-2 headquarters in London. Her numerous creative clients include actors Jack Nicholson, Carrie Fisher Ted Danson, Johnny Galecki, artist David Choe, songwriter Allee Willis and more. She has also participated as a principal designer in a number of historic restorations of buildings and homes that are recogized as architectural treasures including those designed by Rudolph Schindler, Paul Williams and Frank Lloyd Wright.
Laurie Crogan's one-of a kind designs have been featured in many magazines including: Time, Sunset, Better Homes and Garden, Country Living, Los Angeles, Fine Home Building, as well as The Los Angeles Times. Crogan's work was also featured in the home restoration book "Linoleum."
